Launching a Custom Gaming PC Brand: E-commerce for Forged in Tenacity
How we built and operate the full digital storefront for a custom gaming PC brand — from e-commerce architecture and guided buying to hosting, performance, and post-purchase workflows.

Overview
Forged in Tenacity (F10) builds custom gaming PCs — machines configured around how the customer actually plays, from entry-level builds to top-tier rigs.
Selling custom hardware online is not a standard e-commerce problem. Every product is configurable, every buyer has a different level of technical knowledge, and trust decides whether someone spends four figures on a machine they've never touched.
We built and operate F10's entire digital presence. Our goals:
- Turn visitors with zero hardware knowledge into confident buyers
- Make the store fast and reliable — a slow site selling fast PCs kills trust
- Support the full customer journey, from first visit to post-purchase support
- Keep the platform maintained and operated, not just launched
The Challenge
A custom PC brand faces problems most shops don't:
- Products aren't fixed SKUs — buyers need guidance to arrive at the right configuration
- The audience ranges from complete beginners to competitive players with strong opinions
- Hardware questions (shipping, warranty, setup, troubleshooting) generate heavy support load
- The brand lives in the gaming scene — the site has to look and feel like it belongs there
- No internal tech team exists to run any of this
The store had to sell, educate, and support — all at once.
The Solution
We delivered the storefront as a complete, operated platform.
E-commerce Architecture
- Modern storefront with shop, cart, and streamlined checkout flow
- Product structure built around configurations instead of rigid SKUs
- Image-heavy product presentation optimized for fast loading
Guided Buying Experience
Most PC buyers don't know exactly what they need. Instead of dumping spec sheets on them, we built a guided path:
- "Find your balance" — budget vs. performance tradeoffs, explained simply
- "What's your playstyle?" — matching configurations to how the customer plays
- "How to choose?" — a plain-language walkthrough of what actually matters
This turns the most common objection — "I don't know what to pick" — into a structured funnel toward the right build.
Content & Trust Layer
- FAQ covering the questions that block hardware purchases: shipping, warranty, returns, setup, and post-purchase support
- Blog architecture for ongoing content
- About and brand pages connecting F10 to its roots in the esports scene
Hosting & Operations
- Full hosting and deployment setup
- Performance optimization across the stack
- Ongoing maintenance and content updates — the store is operated, not handed over and forgotten
Key Impact
A Store That Educates
The guided buying flow does the pre-sales work a shop assistant would do in a physical store. Visitors arrive unsure and leave with a specific configuration in mind.
Performance as a Sales Argument
A brand selling high-performance machines cannot run on a sluggish website. Fast load times aren't just UX here — they're proof the brand knows what it's doing.
Zero Internal Tech Burden
F10's team focuses on building PCs and growing the brand. Everything digital — from deployment to content updates — runs through a single external partner.
Real-World Example
When a new product line launches:
- Product pages, imagery, and guide content go live together
- The team doesn't touch code or hosting — they hand over materials and the update ships
- Support questions arriving through the site route into an organized workflow instead of a shared inbox
The result is a hardware brand that operates online like a company several times its size.
Key Takeaways
- Configurable products need guided buying, not just a product grid
- In hardware e-commerce, site performance is brand credibility
- FAQ and educational content reduce support load before it happens
- A storefront is not a project — it's an operated system
Conclusion
Forged in Tenacity shows what our e-commerce work looks like in practice: not a template shop, but a full commercial platform — architecture, buying experience, content, hosting, and operations — run end to end.
The brand builds the machines. We run everything that sells them.
